Where are we located?
Our studio is located between Woolydoodle + Sonya Roe at the corner of King and 5th street in the heart of downtown Chatham, Ontario. Enter through the side entrance on 5th St, where you will see "The Studio Sisters" sign. The studio space is accessible right on ground level on 5th Street. Dropped Pin
Booking process + Regestration?
All of our studio bookings are done at wwww.thestudiosisters.ca using our online scheduling system. Our online calendars are always up to date and show the latest availability and pricing.

You will recieve an email confirmation about your booking.
Parking?
There is free street parking on King Street and Fifth Street or at the Chatham Mall parking lot. There is also a paid parking lot just behind the studio off of Wellington St.
General Studio Rules?
We recommend arriving to our studio 15 minutes before the start of your booking.
Our attendants will be visiting your studio room within 10 minutes prior to the end of your booking to ensure that the room is left in its original condition. Furniture and props need to be moved back to their original place and all garbage must be placed into garbage cans.
Our studio attendants can check the rooms during your studio time if we hear loud noises, dragging of furniture, or suspected violation of studio rules and/or safety. They will knock on the door before entering and give you a warning before coming in.
We have cameras installed in our common areas/reception areas.
Since the studio rooms are not soundproof, please keep the noise level to a reasonable volume, including any use of music. Music played in the studio must not contain any explicit content. If the noise becomes too loud, we will ask you to turn it down.
Our studio cannot be used to shoot pornographic content.
If a member of your party comes to the studio intoxicated, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the premises. Smoking (including recreational drugs) is not permitted on studio premises.
Please note that failure to respect the studio rules, studio staff, or other bookers, will result in immediate termination of your booking and can result in a permanent ban from The Studio Sisters.
If furniture/decor is moved please ensure it is placed back in its original place.
If anything is damaged please let us know immediately, you may be required to pay for any damages.
Damage / cleaning details?
Furniture and props need to be moved back to their original place, and all garbage must be placed into garbage cans.
If the room is left untidy at the end of the booking, there will be a $50-100 cleaning fee added to your booking.
If you need to move furniture, please lift the items and do not drag them. This damages both the floors and furniture legs. If you need assistance, please contact our studio.
Please do not bring candles into the studio, unless they have glass coverings. Open flame candles drip wax onto floors and other surfaces, causing damage.
Floors / furniture need to be covered if you are doing a cake smash at the studio. Buttercream often leaves slippery floors and they must be mopped before the next booking.
No open flame, dry ice, sparkers or smoke machines are allowed at the studio. If you absolutely require it for your photoshoot, please email us at hellostudiosisters@gmail.com
Please contact us if you are bringing confetti, fake snow, or feathers into studio space, so that our team has sufficient time to vacuum the floors before the next booking.
If there are damages to the floor / furniture / props / V Flats, or any other studio equipment, including extension during your booking, you will be asked to reimburse the cost of the damages. Broken furniture leg damage fee is $200, floor damage and deep scratches can range from $100-500 depending on the extent of the damage, furniture damage is subject to $100-500 damage fee.
Your booking is only for the room that you rented for the duration of the rental. If you require additional time to setup / takedown, please factor it into your booking. If you need extra time and the room is available, you can rent additional time in 30 minute increments.
If you have a large party, please factor in the time to bring / take out your belongings from the studio space. You will be asked to wrap up your shoot 10 minutes early so that you can start clearing out the space. Alternatively, you can dedicate a person from your party to start removing items while you are finishing the photo session.
Cancellations + Rescheduling?
All shoots have to be paid in full at the time of booking.
The studio sisters offers studio credit for cancelled bookings (no refunds).
All cancellations/rescheduled bookings must give 48 hours notice in order to receive a credit.
If you cancel/reschedule your reservation with less than 48 hours of your booking date, you will be liable for the full value of the booking and no credit will be given.
All bookings and reservations are non transferable.
Wifi?
You will have access to our Wifi when you are using the Studio, we will have the password on our sign in booklet when you arrive.
Pets?
We welcome all pets, if you want to do pet portraits or include your pets in your family sessions we just ask that you keep the studio cleaned and if your pet marks its territory we ask that you clean up. If there is damage to furniture, floors, props or the wardrobe due to your pet you will be responsible in paying for those damages.
Complimentary items included with your booking?
There are background stands, seamless paper rolls, and a client wardrobe that you will have access to. They are available free of charge, and are subject to a damage fee if they are not returned in the original condition.
What is included in my rental?
Along with the rental space for the allotted time you've booked, you will have full range of the studio including props and the client closet. Although, no photographer is included in your rental, you may bring along your team of creatives or contact us if you need assistance with a team.
What form of payments are accepted?
At checkout you can select credit card, debit, or pay pal.
Is the studio available for private events?
ABSOLUTELY! If you are planning a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party or intimate wedding, what ever the event contact us at at studiosisters@gmail.com so we can discuss your vision for your event!
I am a client wanting photos taken at the studio, how do I find a photographer?
You are more than welcome to bring along your own photographer if you have one you have been working with. If you need recommendations we love sharing so please contact us and we can hook you up with a wonderful photographer / videographer! Contact us at hellostudiosisters@gmail.com
Is the studio only for photography?
Absolutely not! Our studio is a creative space and we welcome all creatives from artists, photographers, videographers, and entrepreneurs who want a change of scenario from their home office to pop up shops, small intimate wedding ceremonies and elopements. A beautiful cozy place to get ready the morning of your wedding day, bridal showers, baby showers and birthday parties!
Whatever it is, The Studio Sisters has you covered and are so thrilled to see the space filled with your love and creativity.
What is the client closet?
We have curated a beautiful closet of womens dresses ranging from sizes small to xl and newborn to toddler in beautifully hand knit bloomers/rompers by the lovely BLOOMING GOODS. (Instagram @blooming_goods) All garments are washed after each wear. We have currated this closet over time, and do not have multiples, therefore, when an when an item is signed out it will not be avaialble for 24 hours after being worn. We have also teamed up with Bartley Baby Co (instagram) to bring a few MOMMY + ME outfit options to The Studio Sisters!
